About (Barbara Dunkelman – Biography)
Dunkelman was born into a Jewish family in Montreal, Quebec. When she was eight years old, she and her family relocated to Ottawa, Ontario. She praises her brothers with making her involved in Red vs. Blue and Rooster Teeth in general. She is the middle sister, with one older and one younger sibling.
In October 2004, she registered on the Rooster Teeth website. She helped out at the premier Toronto Red vs. Blue fan game, RvBTO, in 2005. She began assisting with the organisation in 2008 as a co-host and Rooster Teeth liaison. In 2010, she worked as a hostess for WatchMojo.com for a few months.
Dunkelman earned a marketing degree from Concordia University in June 2011. She and Michael Jones, Ray Narvaez, Jr., Andrew Blanchard, Mike Kroon, and Dylan “Dylon” Saramago co-founded the triple award-winning Internet Box podcast in September 2011, with Lindsay Jones and Kerry Shawcross joining the cast later.
Rooster Teeth appointed her as their first Community Manager in December 2011, and she was in charge of designing community features and the company’s social media. She was the most-followed participant of the Rooster Teeth group platform before she was hired.
